FaB Wisconsin is a network for food, beverage, ingredient, equipment and packaging makers that raises industry awareness and capacity for growth and advancement. FaB has more than 170 members representing nearly 700 industry professionals, including food and beverage companies, industry suppliers, nonprofits, higher education, government, economic development and K-12 schools.
FaB is helping develop deeper industry intelligence and build a stronger network of companies to facilitate strategic growth in this sector. There are more than 250 food and beverage manufacturing companies in the region, with a majority in the food ingredients and seasonings/dressings industries. Wisconsin overall is home to more than 1,000 food processing firms that employ 62,000 people and have combined gross annual revenues of $10 billion. Nationally, Wisconsin ranks among the top ten agricultural states in the U.S.
FaB offers events, programming and committees to help businesses attract talent, accelerate innovation, ensure food safety, or start up or expand a company. FaB's food and beverage sector accelerator program. FaBcap, aims to grow the capacity and capital of Wisconsin’s early-stage food and beverage companies. Over the course of a year, selected companies receive financial and business coaching from FaB Wisconsin staff and industry experts, as well as targeted events, training and a $10,000 seed funding award.
