Export Development

Now is the Time to Consider International Trade
The Milwaukee 7 and MMAC remind manufacturers and service providers alike to always consider international markets when seeking new sales growth opportunities.  Not only can manufacturers of finished goods and components easily sell abroad, many more export opportunities exist today thanks to licensing and franchise agreements. Currently 96% of the world’s population resides outside of the United States and an additional 1 billion people are expected to join the global middle class in the next decade. Taking advantage of these opportunities today will guarantee years of future growth and profitability.

Exporting products or services can be challenging, However, a multitude of local, state and federal trade resources and programs exist to guide your company to identify and prioritize markets, determine the most efficient sales channels, develop marketing and promotional strategies and understand the ancillary topics such as financing, logistics, trade compliance, etc.  Even experienced exporters can make improvements or take advantage of programs to improve their bottom line.

Recently the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network announced the launch of the Go Global Initiative, to provide export assistance directly to Wisconsin companies to navigate the existing state and federal trade resources.  The Milwaukee 7 is proud to be a strategic partner of the Go Global Initiative and we encourage any and all companies in the Milwaukee Region to take advantage of this SBA-supported program.
